Sourcing people to sponsor you in South Africa is a difficult task. This is principally due to the exposure that firms obtain in return and the lack of awareness. There are two types of firms you can approach, industry or non-industry related companies.
Industry Related Sponsors
It is normally easier to recognize, contact and close industry sponsors. They are normally more eager to invest in a athlete because generally they get immediate benefit through product sales.
